Exports & Reports

Getting your numbers out of Minzani and in front of a bank or auditor.

What export formats are available?

PDF, Excel, and CSV for both the ledger and Profit vs Loss, plus a PDF-only Audit Report. Every money figure in every format is comma-separated with the currency named in the column header (e.g. "Amount (UGX)"), and every date reads DD-MM-YYYY — consistent with what you see on screen, so a spreadsheet or PDF never contradicts the app.

How do I export the ledger?

From the ledger page for the month you want, use the PDF, Excel, or CSV buttons near the top of the page. Each export covers that one month's entries plus its balance-moved-forward, receipts, expenditures, and closing balance summary.

How do I export Profit vs Loss?

Same idea, from the Profit vs Loss page for the month you're viewing — PDF, Excel, or CSV, covering every category's spend for that month, plus the total receipts, expenditure, and net profit/loss.

What is the Audit Report?

A real fillable PDF — type directly into it on a computer or phone, or print it and fill it in by hand. It opens with a table of every quarter (3 consecutive closed months) currently available to audit, then six numbered sections covering receipts, deposit approvals, expenditure, month-end closing, record integrity, and bank/cash reconciliation — each question has a fillable Answer (YES / NO / N-A) field, every section has its own Comments box, and there are signature lines at the end. A quarter only appears once all 3 of its months are closed, so the figures an auditor sees can't still change. Download it from Ledger History, where you'll also find every past month grouped by year.

Who can export reports?

Any active team member — Owner/Admin, Bookkeeper, or Viewer — can export the ledger and Profit vs Loss. The Audit Report is Owner/Admin only, since it's meant to represent the business's own review of its controls.
